Who you are contracting with

Our full legal identity is published on the Legal Notice page. That page, not this one, is the legally required identification.

Quotes and scope

Nothing is agreed until you have a written quote covering the deliverable, the scope and the price, and you have confirmed you want to proceed.

A quote is based on the brief you give us. If the brief changes materially after work has started, we flag it and re-quote the affected part rather than silently absorbing or ignoring the change.

What a revision means

A revision is feedback on copy already drafted against the brief you gave us — tightening, tone adjustments, corrections, reworking a section that missed the mark.

It is not a new deliverable, a change of brief, or additional pages beyond what was quoted. Those are new scope, and they are quoted separately rather than absorbed quietly.

Results

We deliver the work with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee business outcomes — conversion rates, rankings, sales or any other measurable result — because those depend on your product, market, pricing, design and traffic, none of which a copywriter controls.

Our total liability for any project is limited to the fees paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Confidentiality

Your brief, brand information and business details stay confidential, and are not shared beyond what delivering the work requires. Client work is not shown or named on this site.

What we need from you

Accurate information about your business and product, responses to questions within a reasonable time, and confirmation that you hold the rights to any material you send us to work from.

Legal, medical, financial or other regulated-industry review of the finished copy before publication is yours — we write it, you know your compliance obligations.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and disputes go before the Portuguese courts with jurisdiction over Braga.

If you are a consumer rather than a business

These terms are written for business clients, and EU and Portuguese consumer law largely does not apply to business-to-business contracts.

If you are ever buying as a private individual acting outside any trade or profession, you have a 14-day right to cancel a distance contract without giving a reason. If you ask us to start within those 14 days, we will ask you to confirm that in writing and to acknowledge that once the service is fully delivered the right to cancel is lost; cancel partway and you owe a proportionate amount for work already done.
